Please do not ask to
sign your children out before 2:45 p.m., unless you have an
emergency.
If a student needs to be
picked up early, a note should be sent that morning to the
teacher. If a child is to be released to a person other
than the parent or guardian, that adult must be listed on
the emergency card. Students are signed out in the front
office. Any person who is picking up a child should be
prepared to show picture identification. Taking a child out
of class interrupts instruction and reduces learning time
for all involved.
Changes for
afternoon transportation or pick-up should be submitted in
writing to the teacher using the form in your child’s
planner. Changing transportation over the phone presents
safety concerns and will be permitted only in emergencies.
